Year: 5th
Appearance: African ancestry means dark skin, brown hair and eyes. Regular body size for a girl her age, thin around the arms and a little on the short side.
Personality: Morgan has the traits Slytherin would be proud of: she's cunning, sly, doesn't care much for rules that get in her way and extremely ambitious. She's not above using people to get where she wants. But this doesn't mean she's bad, per-se. She's very human, and so not everything is black and white, especially with her. To learn more, interact with her yourself! ^_^
History: Though the myth is that every Slytherin student is pureblooded, the truth is that Pureblood families are actually rare, and becoming rarer by the moment. Morgan actually only has one wizard parent, her father who is a legacy Slytherin himself. Her mother is a Muggle, who she has never seen. Her father used to tell her that she was dead, then when Morgan got a little older he told her the truth, that she was away and living her own life. Morgan always thought that her father cared very little for her mother, which begs the question why he had a child with her in the first place.
Nevertheless Morgan has lived well in a middle-class Wizarding community. Her father is a Professor and a very learned man who likes to dabble in the Dark Arts. Morgan has a feeling he's been doing a little more than 'dabbling', as there has been a lot of late-night activity during the Summers at her home involving correspondence with shady characters. Morgan has been kept out of the loop when it comes to their (Death Eater) activities.
Morgan right now doesn't want anything to do with it. She loves being a witch, she loves magic and Muggles annoy her. She wants to make her way in life legitimately, and become something big. That's her plans right now anyway!
She sucks at sports, but loves watching and would like to play. She has a few favourite courses, but her favourites by far are Charms and Runes. She just plain loves magic and doing things with it. It's the most obvious and fundamental difference between wizards and Muggles, and she thinks it's worth being emphasized.
